Opportunity to Serve in the Temple Custodial

The Houston Temple relies on volunteers from the temple district to help with many ongoing services, and the temple leaders greatly appreciate the assistance our members. provide! Your service contributes to the eternally significant work that takes place in holy temples. Two members are needed to serve in this custodial assignment in the temple. Please contact Brother Murphy of the Stake High Council, if you are willing to serve in this assignment.

For Members Working Inside the Temple:

1. Only endowed, current temple recommend holders may serve inside the temple. 2. Arrive at the temple in your Sunday clothes, at the starting time for the shift. 3. White clothing must be worn while working in the temple. Volunteers may bring their own white temple clothes or white coveralls will be provided for volunteers. 4. Comfortable white shoes should be worn (white athletic shoes are permitted). 5. All volunteers should enter the temple through the back entrance off of Cypresswood Drive, as the main temple entrance on Champion Forest Drive is closed on Mondays.

Typical assignments might include: vacuuming, dusting, polishing hardware and fixtures, mopping floors, or sanitizing.
